Membership
How can I contribute to UIG and become a Member?
The total number of Members is capped at a maximum of 99 members.
When UIG officially launches, whitelisted Members will have the opportunity to deposit USDC to UIG's multisig contract. Each member can contribute a minimum of 10,000 USDC, which will give 10,000 UIG warrant tokens (1 USDC = 1 UIG unit). Warrant tokens provide voting rights in UIG, along with pro-rata rights to any profits and dividends from investments.
There is no maximum to the amount that a whitelisted Member can deposit, but to avoid situations where a single member has a monopoly over voting power, each Member's voting rights will be subject to quadratic voting.
Member's voting power = √ (Member's warrant tokens)

The UIG team will be allocated 5% of warrant tokens for its role in helping to formulate UIG.
Can I contribute Bitcoin, Dai, or other assets to UIG?
All contributions are currently only limited to USDC, unless the Members agree otherwise.
Post Contribution
Once a Member makes a contribution, UIG's underlying smart contracts will need to whitelist the Member's applicable Story wallet address. The process for validating and whitelisting the Member's Story wallet address will be done in order of contribution and will take at least 7 total days to complete. The process takes 4 days to process the proposal and another 3 days to provide Members the right to "exit" if they so choose.
